USS Cyane

Three ships of the United States Navy have been named Cyane, after the Greek nymph.

The USS Cyane (1815), was originally HMS Cyane captured in 1815 and taken into the US Navy, where she served until 1836.
The USS Cyane (1837), was a 22-gun sloop-of-war, launched in 1837 and decommissioned in 1871.
The USS Cyane (YFB-4), was formerly the Gwin, renamed Cyane on 11 April 1918.
